What: 1 month residency on board the schooner Tara working together with scientists and sailors to develop ways of listening to phytoplankton, the ways coccolitophores have of communicating, and contemplating the universe around them.
Phytoplanktonic Conversations on NTS radio, a sonic artist notebook created on board Tara… Aquatic recordings, eavesdropping into the everyday on board, sounds from scientific equipment, sonifications of scientific data, meditations on how planktonic beings may perceive the universe.
